GEMEC Limited is a UK-registered company (Reg. No 09395933) established in January 2015 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the ELECTROMEC S.A. Group — an international engineering and construction group headquartered in Athens, Greece, with additional subsidiaries in Romania and Libya. ELECTROMEC specialises in project development and construction across the energy and infrastructure sectors.

GEMEC’s core expertise lies in EPC and O&M of renewable energy projects. In recent years, the company has been primarily active in the UK solar and battery storage (BESS) markets, delivering comprehensive, end-to-end solutions for grid-connected photovoltaic plants and energy storage systems. From initial design and equipment supply to construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations and maintenance, GEMEC ensures optimal performance, efficiency, and long-term reliability for every project.

Up to present, GEMEC Ltd. has participated in a number of tenders for renewable energy projects in the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Germany, Greece, and Africa, and has gained and successfully completed EPC contracts with a turnover of over £120M.
